Ozone in Water

Ozone is a special form of pure oxygen-enriched oxygen where three oxygen atoms form one molecule of ozone (O3) while ‘normal’ atmospheric oxygen is made up of just two oxygen atoms (O2). Under UV rays or the discharge function, oxygen can easily produce ozone, which is more commonly known as “Activated Oxygen”. Ozone is produced when an electrical charge, such as corona discharge, molecularly dissociates a stable molecule (O2) and breaks it apart leaving two unstable atoms (O1) of oxygen. In search of stability, these atoms connect to other oxygen (O1) molecules creating ozone (O3).
